Plan and pricing changes from September 1, 2024

Dear Friends,
We hope you're enjoying the summer holidays at a more relaxed pace!
We'd like to inform you about upcoming changes to Zenamu, which will take effect from September 1, 2024.
The changes concern the current plans:
The “Professional” and “Studio” plans will no longer be available, and we're replacing them with 3 new plans -- ”Lite”, ”Professional”, and ”Expert”.
The free plan (”Getting Started”) will no longer limit how many classes you can schedule.
Each plan will differ based on features and the number of orders placed per month.
You'll find full details about the plans, features, and pricing on our website.
Thank you for your support!
We'd like to explain why we've decided to take this step.
What started in 2021 as a small hobby project — something Barbara and I built in our free time — has grown into a real system for managing open classes, courses, workshops, and passes. According to your feedback, it's still easy to use.
Along the way we've added a lot. Last-minute cancellation policies (with automatic cancellation fees), better course management with refunds, discounted sign-ups for remaining spots in ongoing courses, and drop-in booking for individual open slots. Plugins to embed Zenamu into your website. PDF receipts and exports for accounting. Automatic event and client tags so you can find things faster. Analytics and statistics for tracking orders and revenue. A connection to email marketing tools. And a steady stream of interface improvements — for both you and your clients.
The new plans reflect what the platform actually does today. (For the next round of plan changes effective January 1, 2026, see our updates to the Expert plan structure.)
Still the best price/performance ratio on the market
Even after the price adjustment, our offer remains the best solution on the market. Compared to competitors, Zenamu includes features in its basic plan that others lock behind premium tiers. We don't think it makes sense to limit you from the start -- whether by capping your client count, blocking discounted passes, restricting card payments, or hiding schedule embeds behind a paywall.
These are all things that can help your business and teaching practice grow!
Why did we decide to limit our plans based on the number of orders?
As your practice grows, your order volume increases. This pricing model lets us tailor our services to your needs, so you always get the support and features that match your business.
1 order = 1 active (i.e., not canceled) booking for an open class, an entire course, or a workshop.
We appreciate you staying with us on our journey and benefiting from the continuous development of our system.
Questions and Answers
I'm on a prepaid “Professional” or “Studio” plan — what happens after September 1?
Your current plan keeps working with all existing features under the current pricing until the end of your prepaid period. If you subscribed for a year that expires on, say, February 17, 2025, nothing changes until then. If your last monthly payment was on August 25, your subscription stays active until September 25.
After your prepaid period expires, your account automatically switches to the free “Getting Started” plan. We'll notify you by email about the switch and apologise in advance for any temporary feature limits while you're on the free plan.
If you're already on “Getting Started”, your plan simply updates to the new terms on September 1 — no action needed.
How do I order a new plan after switching to the free one?
Starting September 1 (thanks to our new payment gateway, Stripe), you can switch between plans yourself, in both directions. You'll need to set up a new card payment after the switch — so the practical step is: once you're on the free plan, you place a new order to move up.
What if I run out of orders on my plan?
If you hit the order limit, you can upgrade mid-period, pay the prorated difference, and keep using Zenamu without restrictions. The mechanics of switching and the full plan breakdown are on the pricing page.
