Babu co-founded Zenamu. She writes code, has practiced yoga for years, and is a mother. She is as at home among instructors and studio owners as she is in the codebase — and her writing draws from both.
She builds the features studios use every day, and she talks to the people running them. From the daily back-and-forth on support, she knows where they actually get stuck.
Yoga is also a personal practice for her, so she understands the world studios operate in. Most teachers did not get into this work to wrangle admin and CRM — they got into it to teach. She writes with that in mind: not piling on more for the reader, but helping name what could actually be better in day-to-day running.
On the blog she mostly writes about where the human side meets the software: cancellation policies, keeping clients around, how to handle passes and memberships, what to automate and what is better left to a real conversation.
