Video on demand for studios and instructors
Zenamu video on demand lets studios and instructors offer a library of on-demand videos. Link your videos from Vimeo or YouTube (nothing to host), group them into playlists, and decide who watches what.
Three ways to give clients access
Every video and playlist can be opened up in the way that fits it best. Mix and match across your library.
Free to watch
No account, no payment
Set any video to free as a taster. Anyone can play it, with no payment needed.
Best for: tasters and reaching new clients.
Part of a membership
A perk for active members
Add videos or whole playlists to a membership, so active members watch them as part of what they already pay for.
Best for: member value and retention.
Sold on its own
A standalone online product
Sell a single video or a whole playlist for a price you set, with access for days, months, or for life.
Best for: extra income from clients who can't make it to the studio.
Why studios add on-demand video
A new revenue stream
Sell your recorded classes online, on top of your live ones, without renting another room or teaching another hour.
Reach beyond the studio
Clients who can't get to a class, or who live too far away, can still train with you whenever it suits them.
More value in every membership
On-demand content is a perk that makes members more likely to stay. See memberships.
No hosting to manage
Your videos stay on Vimeo or YouTube. You add a link, so there's nothing heavy to upload or store.
How on-demand video works
- Link a videoPaste a link from Vimeo or YouTube. Zenamu doesn't host the file. It just shows it to the right clients.
- Group videos into playlistsBuild themed playlists, like a beginner course or a 30-day challenge. Selling a playlist also covers any video you add to it later.
- Choose who can watchOpen a video to everyone, include it in a membership, or sell it as a one-time purchase with the validity you set.
- Clients watch, you see howClients watch from the My videos section in their profile, and analytics show how many people watch and how far they get.
On-demand video runs on the Ultimate plan. Your videos are hosted on your own Vimeo or YouTube account.
One platform for live classes and video
On-demand video sits alongside everything else in Zenamu: bookings, memberships, payments, and your client app. Clients buy, book, and watch in one place. See full plans on our pricing page.
Video on demand FAQ
What is video on demand?
Video on demand lets you offer clients a library of videos to watch online. You add videos from Vimeo or YouTube, group them into playlists, and make them available through a membership, as a one-time purchase, or for free.
Do I have to host the videos myself?
No. Your videos stay on your own Vimeo or YouTube account, and you simply add a link in Zenamu. There is nothing to upload or store on our side.
Can I sell a whole playlist, not just single videos?
Yes. You can sell a single video or a whole playlist for a price and validity you set, and buying a playlist also covers videos you add to it later.
Can I make videos part of a membership?
Yes. You can give selected memberships access to videos or whole playlists, so active members watch them as part of their plan.
How do clients watch the videos?
Clients watch from the My videos section of their profile, where they see everything they have access to. Analytics show how many people watch and how far they get.
