How to Migrate from Your Previous Reservation System and Import Clients

To save you the hassle of re-entering all your client details, we offer a free migration service to transfer your existing clients from your current booking system to Zenamu, including any unused credit packs or entry passes.

Simply prepare a client list and send it to support@zenamu.com.

How Does the Migration Process Work?

The goal of the migration is to have your client list in Zenamu:

1. Prepare Export from Your Existing Booking System

  • Export your client data from your current system.
  • The export process varies by system but is usually available in the system's administration section, often under an export button.
  • The preferred format is CSV (a text file where data is separated by commas), but an Excel file (XLS, XLSX) is also acceptable.

Required Information for Migration:

  • Client's Name and Surname
  • Client's Email (required if you want clients to have accounts with entry passes or credits)*
  • Number of Remaining Entries or Credits (optional)
  • Client's Phone Number (optional)
  • Consent to Receive Newsletters (optional)

A sample CSV file might look like this:

Optional values can be left blank but must be separated by commas and follow the correct sequence.

2. Import into Zenamu

Once you provide us with the file, we’ll handle the import for you:

  • 1) We’ll Import Your File
  • We’ll process your file and import the data into Zenamu.
  • All your clients, including their entry passes or credit packs, will be displayed in your system.
  • Their registration status will initially be "Client does not have a Zenamu account (unregistered user)".

  • 2) An Invitation Email to Zenamu Will Be Sent to Your Clients

  • 3) Clients Will Create Their Accounts in Zenamu

  • Your clients will receive an email invitation to join Zenamu.

  • If a client registers with the same email, their entry passes or credit packs will be automatically assigned to them, allowing them to manage their own account.

Is It Necessary to Send an Email to Everyone?

For clients with existing entries or credits, sending an invitation to Zenamu is necessary so they can register and access their accounts. If none of your clients have entries or credits, sending an email to all clients is not required.

If a client’s email is missing, we won’t be able to send them an invitation.

Clients must be registered and logged into Zenamu to use their entries or credits independently.

Alternatives to Client Import

  • If you prefer not to use automatic import or if you’re transitioning from a completely offline system (like paper records), you can gradually add clients to Zenamu manually, including any entries or credits.
  • If you wish to send emails to clients in your own style, you can import clients into Zenamu without sending an email and then connect Zenamu to your email marketing tool. For more details, see Sending Email Newsletters.
