What is Late-cancel rate?

The percentage of classes from which clients cancel shortly before the start (e.g., 2–6 hours in advance).
Late-cancel rate shows how often clients cancel their bookings at the last minute. Unlike no-show (failing to attend without canceling), the client at least canceled—but too late for the studio to fill the spot with someone else.
This metric is important for optimizing studio capacity and class planning. A high late-cancel rate may signal the need to adjust cancellation policies or better motivate clients to change bookings in a timely manner.
